Meh-FILM: The Tenants Downstairs (2016)

Today I will be talking about 2016 Vietnamese film The Tenants Downstairs directed by Adam Tsuei in his first directorial venture. The film is based on the novel of the same title by Giddens Ko

GENRE: BLACK COMEDY-HORROR

DURATION: 120 Minutes

WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

The film is about a sadistic landlord, Chang Chia-chun, who manipulates the lives of his tenants through a network of surveillance cameras installed throughout the building. But when the police find out, the truth was more disturbing and surprising for us.

WHY SHOULD WE WATCH IT?

The film is an excellent example of audience manipulation.

Watch it if you are into gory and graphic violence.

Witness the performances of all the major actors.

Mind-blowing plot twist which turns this gory tell into a story of revenge.
